CUSTOMIZE COURSES TO YOUR INTERESTS

Like the Certificate of Biblical Studies, candidates may select from current course offerings or our catalogue of archived courses to create a customized plan of study. The proportion of courses from each stream remains the same—40% Biblical, 40% Ministry and 20% Worldview—but allows candidates greater freedom to tailor curriculum to their specialized interests. Students will continue to require an additional two Ministry Experience courses to meet the DBS requirement of 64 credit hours.

If pursuing full-time study pace, the 24-course DBS may be completed in as little as 2 years. Taking fewer than sixteen credits per term will extend the duration of the program and we recommend a 3-4 year course of study for students who plan to work in tandem with their studies. Connect with us to discern the best pace for you (please email admissions@glbc.ca). See a sample Year 2 curriculum below.
