Renew Your Corporate Membership

Renew your GLBC Corporate Membership online or by post.  Membership with GLBC provides voting privileges at the Annual General Meeting and the assurance that you are supporting the ongoing work of the College.

What are the Corporations?

Great Lakes Christian College (High School) was established in 1950 by means of Letters Patent of the Province of Ontario as a non-profit corporation.

Great Lakes Bible College was established in 1987 by a Private Member’s Bill, Pr5, in the Legislature of Ontario.

In each case, provision was made for regulation through a governing body of Corporation Members. Membership is open to any individual who:

  • is a member in good standing of a Church of Christ congregation; (for GLCC only, this condition may be explicitly exempted by a motion of the Board of Directors)
  • is an individual at least 18 years of age;
  • pays the appropriate fee;
  • is approved by the Board.

Members of the respective Corporations elect a Board which is expressly responsible for directing the affairs of its College.  Members of the Corporation regulate the by-laws, which set the condition of the Board’s function. Each Corporation is in effect a “grass roots” organization which takes responsibility for the Colleges.
