At GLBC we recognize that our growth as disciples begins with God’s shaping of us (Jeremiah 18:6). In addition to God’s shaping of us, Christian brothers and sisters have an integral role in our growth to become more like Jesus. At GLBC we take mentorship seriously and do not see education as simply the acquisition of head-knowledge. Learning must form what we believe, who we are, and how we live our lives.

Discipleship is intentional and requires commitment. We want to invest in our students, inside the classroom and outside as well. As we walk together, we learn from one another and help keep each other accountable toward faithful living that brings honor to Jesus. That is why we are integrating active mentorship into our program at GLBC as we equip disciple-makers—disciples who make disciples.
