The Bible is the best-selling book in history, yet it is also probably the most misunderstood. It need not be so. God speaks clearly through His Word, giving us principles and examples for interpretation. In this course, we will discuss what God tells us about interpreting His Word and look at examples, from the Bible itself and from church history, to learn what God was saying to the original audience, what he is saying to us, and how we can share that message with others effectively, through close attention to the historical, literary, and cultural contexts of Scripture.
