Our Academic Programs build onto one another. For example, credits from your Foundatoinal Certificate can be used towards a Certificate of Biblical Studies, all the way up to a Bachelor of Theology.

Certificate of Biblical Studies (CBS)

The Certificate of Biblical Studies (CBS) is awarded to students completing one year of study with GLBC. Thirty-one (31) credit hours are required including one field education credit. Students planning on two or more years at GLBC should take a minimum of 32 credit hours in year one.

Diploma of Biblical Studies (DBS)

The Diploma of Biblical studies (DBS) is awarded to students completing two years of study with GLBC. Those who are serious about avocational leadership in the church while self-supporting will find this preparation of special value. Sixty-four (64) credit hours are required, including three hours of Field Education.

Bachelor of Religious Education (BRE)

The degree, Bachelor of Religious Education (BRE) is awarded to students completing three years of study with GLBC. The BRE degree is a general degree in Bible and related subjects particularly suited for those desiring to enter some phase of full-time Christian service. Ninety-six (96) credit hours are required, including five hours of Field Education.

Bachelor of Theology (BTh)

The degree, Bachelor of Theology (BTh) is awarded to students completing four years of study with GLBC. This degree provides disciplines appropriate to full-time ministry. The degree prepares for possible future graduate study. One hundred and twenty-eight (128) credit hours are required, including an accumulated five hours of Field Education, and one two-hour Internship.
